A: Call our front office staff at 222-PHYS. They will pull your information and let you know whether your insurance paid us or if you are for some reason responsible. Nearly every time, this information will be known before your first visit with us, and Julie or Erin will let you know right away.
A: Relax. Remember, we're here to help you. Plan on coming in about 15 minutes before your appointment so we can get some background medical information paperwork done, then expect about an hour for your full evaluation. Please wear comfortable clothes, e.g. shorts, sports bra, or loose fitting clothing.
A: All we ask is that you call, but we plan our day around treating YOU! If you have to miss, please respect the time and give us a quick call, so we can allow another patient to fill your missed time slot.
A: You just need to be a patient! We are health-care providers, and honor the tradition of healing called for in the bible, but at no point will we preach to you, bring out the bible, or start a-thumping. Our care is individual and designed just for YOU. If you are a Christian, and prayer for your health is important to you, we will honor that desire. If you aren't a Christian, we respect and honor your wishes as well. Your personal religion doesn't matter, just your faith in getting better! Our goal is your overall wellness and rehabilitation. The 't' in our logo is a personal and private acknowledgement of our reason for being.
A: We'll give you take-home sheets describing any home-based activity your therapist needs you to do. Our question to you is this: Do you want to feel better? Then do the exercises and follow your therapist's instructions regarding the use of heat and ice. Your therapist is an expert at getting you back to health, and your home regimen is a chance to help yourself without extra insurance costs. Your "homework" is almost as important as your therapy in the clinic! Keep it up, it really does speed up your recovery time, okay?
A: Talk with us about your feelings. Your feelings and your emotions are so important to the recovery process. Patience is very hard to come by sometimes, but your therapist is your expert, and can encourage you if there is progress to be made, or tell you the hard truth if therapy is no longer an option for you. Either way, we have been there, and we completely understand how tough this whole process can be. We want to know how you feel, both physically and mentally...so please share with us.
A: It's our job and our gift from above to be able to help you. Gifts are not necessary at all. If, however, you want to bring something, we have to insist you keep it edible or needing of water (a plant or flowers) or the gift must have a value no greater than $10 dollars. Anything else is actually illegal, and tho we love you, we'd have to politely decline. But baked goods are always nice, and we try to have treats for you every once in awhile!
A: No, thank YOU. Seriously. It is our life-goal to help people get better. Jason and Kyndra opened this clinic to have a chance to help people like you, and to help you in the same way as if one of our children or parents needed therapy. Thank you for this chance to do the work we feel called to do.
